Dr Abel Pienaar was born in South Africa, graduated from the University of Pretoria with two degrees in theology and a PhD in philosophy and worked for ten years as a Pastor and Minister of Religion in a macro city Church.
A Profound spiritual transformation radically changed the course of his life. From that moment Abel began to search for God. He’s journey took him from Christian to Atheist to Agnostic. He is also a Inner Awareness Therapist and Meditation teacher. Abel follows no particular traditional religious system of teaching; he speaks from his own experience of non duality and true Self. He is also co-founder of Renaissance Spiritual Community Church, a Gnostic Church in Pretoria, where he lives.
Abel’s first book is “Saam op Soek na God, soeke na ‘n eietydse spiritualiteit” (Griffel, 2010).
